Mazini Energy & Power Inc is a privately held 100% Indigenous owned company based in the Treaty Seven region of the Southern Alberta, Canada. We are engaged Transitional Energy projects as a grassroots effort to include Indigenous participation in Net Zero Energy Transition. Our focus is to offer options for remote communities in regions with less developed infrastructures and the possibility for synergetic hybrid energy systems that combine nuclear and alternative energy sources, including renewables. Our core values include doing the right things in the right way; to honor our Ancestors. We care about our people, our community & our environment while adhering to our traditional values as well as to ensure that our projects are held to the highest levels of environmental and social responsibility. Environmental oversight; preferred status for Indigenous opportunities across our territory; and ownership of long-term sources of revenue generation is our focus to ensure a better future for generations to come. Our Indigenous-owned energy company shares a united message that this equity and initiation of long-term partnerships, including subsequent investment in potential future projects, will contribute to the prosperity and change the socio-economic fabric of each Indigenous community. Ultimately, any business deal that will provide a prosperous future for this generation and the next seven generations. Mazini Energy & Power Inc is a privately held company based on Tsuu Tina First Nation (FN) #145 in Treaty Seven region, located adjacent to Calgary City limits in the Southern Alberta, Canada. Our core values include doing the right things in the right way; we care about our people, our community & our environment while adhering to our First Nation traditional values. Our group is an extension of agreements signed hundreds of years ago that holds true today. we believe in the following principles:
Equity agreements between Industry provide opportunities and a platform for Peoples and future generations to share in the energy wealth coming from our lands and traditional territories. Equity partnerships can be reached using traditional protocols by Chiefs and leaders.
Our group will work hard to develop a path for all First Nations and Industry to follow. We consider these partnerships a true example of reconciliation as defined by the original relationship set out in Treaty making. Treaties benefit all Canadians, and they ensure the wellbeing of both Metis and First Nations. This represents our first investment in Canada’s energy infrastructure, and we are excited to partner with Industry.
We will ensure that our projects are held to the highest levels of environmental and social responsibility. Environmental oversight; preferred status for Indigenous opportunities across our territory; and ownership of long-term sources of revenue generation is our focus to ensure a better future for generations to come.
Our leaders want to ensure that our First Nation communities have sustainable benefits for those yet unborn and future generations. Our Elders share with us our natural laws which include, truth, humility, honesty, courage, love, wisdom, and respect. These are guiding principles form our cultural foundation and our Indigenous world view. As an Indigenous-led company, we need to ensure sustainability to Mother Earth and share our understanding as stewards of the land by bringing our traditional protocols and values to projects.
Our Indigenous-owned energy company shares a united message that this equity and initiation of a long-term partnership, including subsequent investment in potential future projects, will contribute to the prosperity and change the socio-economic fabric of each Indigenous community.
We will be making industry-leading commitments to building a sustainable and environmentally responsible projects. This is truly a step towards economic self-determination. Ultimately, any business deal that will provide a prosperous future for this generation and the next seven generations and we are planning to add carbon neutral and green energy projects to our portfolio.
The wealth we generate will provide our Nations with much needed capital to provide better housing, education, and health outcomes. We can improve our standard of living and fulfill what our ancestors intended when they entered their first agreements – Treaties with the Crown
